I have been doing business with Silver Star for about 20 years. I had an experience with a car dealer out of town recently that made me think about how much I appreciate having a local shop that is so dependable and trust-worthy. These guys have taken great care of German and US cars for me over the years, along with doing vehicle checks on a couple of cars before I bought them (or more importantly, didn't end up buying based on their report). In every instance they have been straight-forward with their advice, realistic about what work needed to be done and what could wait for the next service and have always been clear-cut and fair with their pricing. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop, which is rare in the automotive repair world.
